Screen lock not responding

Check the battery connection at the battery posts. Look for corrosion on the battery as well.

I would try power cycling the phone first. I am not familar with this particular phone, but if you can remove the battery and hold the power button in for about 30 seconds with the battery out it should do it. I would then try powering it on and seeing it freezes. I would also check to see if there are any new software updates and also if you have recently done an update that may be causing problems. You could also try doing a factory reset on the phone as a last attempt.

There is too much going on here. For starters, you should only be using Motorola accessories IE batteries, chargers, screen protectors. Now that you have done this, you have actually confused the phone, it is a "smart phone" and because of this, it is able to identify the different battery/charger. You have to send this to Motorola of for a quick fix or buy a new phone.

the problem was on the battery .it showed a full charge but it was no good .
every time i connected the charger to the phone it would work and when i disconnected it the screen froze.
put in a new battery and it seems to be working fine.

When a phone is left in standby it is programmed to lock itself, usually to unlock it your push your main navigational button then the star (*) key to unlock the phone. Hope this helps

it sounds like a one in a million defective battery goto service phone tech show them your receipt and have them replace this battery

your battery might need to be changed. even if it has a full charger it might not be able to properly charge you phone.
try a new battery.

did u try to charge it connected to your pc? maybe its the charger
