I have a GE washer wcvh6260 about a year old. Washed 3 pairs of sneakers, next wash load was a light one and was all wet after cycle. Ran a "Rinse and spin cycle" and rinsed but did spin or drain. Motor ran thru cycle but nothing happened. Checked drain hose and has no clogs. Books says maybe a rebalance needed. Need fix ASAP. Clothes piling up.
Sounds like drain is plugged. this is a fairly easy fix,and you actually get paid to do it. unscrew the bottom panel of your washer should be 3 screws on the very bottom then you will see a white plug that is about 2 1/2" unscrew it (make sure you have a bowl under it water will leak ) and pull it out. this is where you get paid you will find all kinds of change and junk just clean it out reinstall and your clothes will be a lot drier after the spin cycle
thank you this is super helpful. I am living alone in a new aprtment and my landlord is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. I tried this, and it worked right away!
I thought maybe it was because I was only washing my SnowBoarding pants.. but turns
out the problem was plugged!!
I have been havin issues with clogged drains etc in this darn place!
but thanks !! ::)

Ironically I had the same problem after washing three pairs of sneakers. Solution don't ever wash three pairs of sneakers again. Also reconsider buying GE products made in China.
I can put my washer on any setting and it will fill but will not start spin cycle
The pause/start button blinks and the cycle stops. It will not drain out or spin even when it is restarted.
