Soap dispenser latch came off

Make sure the dial that you turn to start the dishwasher is all the way to the beginning. Sometimes my little grandson comes by and plays with it, turning it. I load, add soap and the dispenser won't close. I check the outside dial, and sure enough, set it to the very beginning and the dispenser locks in place!

depending on the model and make of the dishwasher you're going to have to determine if it the control which actiavtes the soleinod of the wax motor that springs the dispenser door open and later in the cycle it also dipenseces the rinse aid

hello there. i hope i can help you?. please check the latch spray a little wd40. and give the soap dispenser. a good clean with warm water. please check that you are useing the correct soap? as this can cause alot of problems. check once a week.top tip give the machine a good clean once a month. i hope this has helped you marymena? also please check for any little obstructions.

Yes its probably the little latch that holds the door closed thats worn out.
