Need to know if older set with picture tubes---turn color off--if yellow screen you have a loss of blue of some sort--red and green will give you a yellow screen. If set has the 3 picture tubes look inside in the lens to see if all 3 have a image---little or no blue means a problem there.
How long u have this RCA analoge tv?Around 10 years or more and used it like about 5 or 6 hrs everydays?Yes,than ur tv it is losing CRT tube radiation cohetion.As times go bye years in years out the tv CRT-(tv tube) radiation will slowly dying out,Tv actual pictures will lost some of it luster and it brightnesses to the tv auctual pictures.Brightnesses of CRT tube will get darker and darker until the tv actual pictures barely it is watchable anymore.Contrast,Brightness and Colors adjusting more will help some.But u have to take this tv aparts and take a Flat scerw driver turn up a little bit more of the tv HV-(high voltage) SCREEN button on the FBT-(flyback transformer) to make any big differences of the CRT tube brightnesses.The FBT-(flyback tranformer) is the big block of plastic with a red wire with a black cap hook up to the tv CRT-(tv tube).This adjustment on of the FBT,HV-SCREEN button will help the tv CRT-(tv tube) last another year or two.
The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.U have tools,soldering iron,solders.U know how to do solders?Try Ebay.com to buy a convergence Fuse(FL231).The big block of plastic call the FBT.Resolder the FBT.The 3 three fuses caps on (FL231) beside it.The covergence fuse cap in middle is dead,replaced the covergence fuse cap in the middle will solved ur convergence problems.
First pull back Look for screen and focus block you will have 3 controls ontop for focus and 3 controls below for adjusting screen drive to each Tube R/G/B
turn color off on Menu NOW try to Adjust the red,greenand blue screen drives as close asyou can to a Black and White picture then turn Color back on in Menu also adjust Focus for each Tube Be sure to Clean Top of Tube Lenses of dust&dirt Just in case Post me your Model and Chassis Number it will be on back of TV some RCA Focus&screen drive Block maybe in front of TV if so remove front bottom panel their you will see control box.

there may be a green tube issue or there could be a screen voltage or screen control adjustment issue. There is a control block with six adjustment screw inside the front panel in front of tv. WARNING high voltage exsit in this set and adjusting these controls really should only be done by a tech,....So be careful
You have probably blown one of the convergence ICs. Effectively the easiest thing to do is replacing the whole convergence board, so that no soldering is involved.
oki this is an itc 222 or rca hd 52.... if your convergence option is not availvble in your menu and you have a bowed multicolored 3 d ish picture then this points to a special fuse fl231 if you can get this fuse and can solder then it should cost you about 5 bucks and 30 minutes to fix...ill give you more intstruction on how to do this repair. whats your model of your tv]
# 1 above you have covergence problems ,there is a service flash from rca to fix your fault,ask your tv shop. fault # 2 above turn off the color and adjust your screen settings for a grey picture,set brightness and contrast to middle settings. # 3 fault read #1 cause if your auto focus will not correct you require service there is a harness connector that looses connection and causes several fualts on the 52" rca's you can repair the fault but if you miss the harness replacement you will do it again.
It needs repaired. I can think of many different possibilities causing the problem:
1. Shorted video luminance driver transistor. Should be under $200 total repair
if you take set in.
2. Shorted green kine bias transistor. $200
3. Failed jungle ic. $250
4. Shorted green gun in the picture tube. More than you paid for tv set... Rca picture tubes commonly run 25% more than the tv set did new!!!!!!!
