Push the card in just a bit until it clicks, then it should release unless it is stuck. Sometimes this happens with new SD cards until they are inserted and ejected a few times.

You may have a defective SD card. Have you tried to put your sisters SD card into your camera? Most cameras have internal storage. Do the cameras work with the SD card removed? Most **** stores sell storage cards. a new card may solve your problem.

What memory card should i put in a kodak easyshare c530 camera

Kodak easyshare c530 has SD/MMC card expansion slot. So you can use any SD(secure digital) or MMC(multimedia cards) storage devices.

Sd card not recognizable

I read the following spec for your camera: Recording Media Internal Flash Memory 64MB Video/Image
SD/SDHC Up To 32GB Video/Image
So, I think that an 8 GB SD card should work.

Try another capacity and brand to make it work.

It does not recognize an 8gb sd card in storage expansion.

Your netbook should read SDHC(over 2 GB capacity) memory cards. The problem might be either the card slot driver, Which you should download if a newer one is available. Or in case you format the SD as DOS then it will only have around 2GB of space, You should format it as DOS32 or NTFS so you get the full capacity for the SD card. Some pirated rather cheaper memory cards have a lower actual capacity. With some compression technique the capacity presented is higher than it actually is. If you format it then it will show the real capacity. hope that is not the case!

Good Luck!

I have a htc touch phone and i put all my pics on the storage card, and than one day all pics where gone and nowi cant even save my pics to the storage card.. and now there is storage card , and storage...

Why this happens:
If for any reason your phone cannot find the SD card on boot it will create a folder on your Phone's Memory called 'Storage Card' to put the Temp Files, Pictures, Music, etc into. Now as soon as the SD card becomes available, since there is already a folder called 'Storage Card', it is forced to name the "Real" SD Card 'Storage Card 2'.
Solution: Delete the "Storage Card" folder and soft reset. If the phone finds the "Real" SD Card, it will be named 'Storage Card' again. If for some reason it is not found, you might have a corrupt SD Card that needs to be reformatted. This would of course loose all the information on the card, so hopefully this is not the case. Warning: If you have pictures or other files in the 'Storage Card' directory, you will want to move them to 'Storage Card 2' before deleting 'Storage Card'. Use the 'File Explorer' found in your 'Programs' to do this. Good luck!

It's not a phone. It's a pocket PC.

Expansion card doesn't stay in.

Problems inserting expansion cards, or keeping them in your device, may have a simple solution. Try these first: * Make sure the expansion card is facing the correct way. See the handbook for your device for illustrations. * Expansion cards do not fit into the slot if not oriented properly. If a MultiMediaCard (MMC) slides all the way through, it does not operate correctly. Make sure to fit cards carefully in the slot. * The mechanism of the expansion slot is called "push-push." Much like a glass cabinet door, you push to insert the card, and then push it in again to get the mechanism to release. Expansion cards do not need to be forced out of the expansion slot. * Though most expansion cards are notched at the top for removal with a fingernail or other such object, removing the card this away may damage the mechanism. Use an object only when a push fails to release the card. Please be aware that you could damage your handheld if you remove a card improperly, or insert objects other than expansion cards into the slot. * Expansion slots damaged by forced removal of the card do not release the card when pushed, and could refuse to ?lock? the card in the slot. Expansion slot damage can only be repaired by having the entire handheld serviced. * Some expansion cards labeled as SD or MMC do not actually conform to the SD or MMC specification.
