Did you uninstall the driver?
when you hook your cable to USB port, you pC should detect your printer. Try to cycle power your PC and try to hook your cable to another USB port after you uninstall the driver

Put in new cartridges but won't print calibration page.|Keeps giving paper jam message

You likely have a small piece of paper jammed in somewhere. Get a good light and start exploring. Look for levers and sensors that have been covered, or dislodged.

The kodak gloss paper gets jammed in my hp photosmart 7350 printer towards the end of printing photos

You have an HP printer. I highly recommend you use HP photo paper for the best results. This may not solve your jamming problem but it may. HP printers are very touchy as to what photo paper you use.

Need to clean hp photosmart 7350 cartridge head

You can try manual cleaning :

# Hold the cartridge upside down, with the bar-code label facing you and take a damp paper towel.
# Use the towel to wipe the printhead of the cartridge on the bottom (where the ink comes out). Wipe the printhead horizontally in one direction only (left to right).
# Continue doing this until it looks clean.
# Then dab the cartridge on the towel to make sure the ink is flowing.
# Next, look inside the printer and locate the carrier that holds ink cartridges. Caution: Make sure the cartridges are not installed at this point.

1. Look for a shiny piece of metal underneath the contacts at the back of the carrier.
2. Take a damp cotton swab (use water only!) and wipe along the bottom of the shiny metal piece. Note: You may need more than one swab.

# Reinstall the cartridges, making sure you snap them correctly into the printer.

I had the same problem and couldn't figure it out until I found this on the web - I changed the DEP setting and now I can print just fine. Hope this helps you too!!

I just figured out my issue. It had to do with DEP − Data Execution
Prevention. I had remembered that I was fooling around with this a couple
weeks ago and had changed it to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services
except those I select" in which I had Windows Explorer checked. I just got
done selecting the original which states "Turn on DEP for essential Windows
programs and services only", rebooted, and now I can print again to my hp
7350 printer.
The DEP can be found under control panel−>system−>Advanced Tab−>Performance
Settings−>Data Execution Prevention Tab
Hope this helps.

Hp psc 2175 all in one printer keeps giving me a paper mismatch message.

Hello tabbeach. The printing cartridge align page message appears if u have any alignment job pending, if it asks to print the alignment page. Follow the steps provided here.
Still if u are facing the same issue, perform a HP Media sense caliberation , which in most cases will resolve the issue
the steps to perform media sense calibration are provided here .
gud luck
