Fault 37,005.41:108192
AC power supplied by power sources such as uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) or DC-to-AC inverter systems may not supply correct voltage to properly power up the printer. Likewise, other devices sharing the same AC circuit can cause AC voltage sags that cause the printer to fail its AC heater PEST tests (Print Engine Self Test). The printer may produce the following heater errors:
37,005.41: PEST - Printhead Reservoir 1 disconnect. Reservoir 1 is not drawing
the expected power from the supply.
If the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and you still get this error, the Printhead is bad and should be replaced.
If you

This is a print head position issue.
TRY FIRST (Solutions without parts):
1. Check that the wipe mechanism has homed. 2. Check the printhead position and verify that it has initialized properly / manually home the printhead and power cycle the printers power and check for the error to return. If not then the error was most likely due to non-process function (something out of sequence).
Part likely to be the cause:
GEARBOX AND MOTOR,PROCESS DRIVE - PL 4.0, Item 14.

Sadly that is not good. That normally is one of the heaters in the print head has failed not warming up enough to allow the ink to remain liquid. It frequently is the result of a failure of the electronics module, none of the most likely problems is a cheap fix. I will give you the list of most probable causes.
Wish I had a more hopeful answer.
PARTS:Parts are listed in the order of highest probability for repair.
NUMBER QTY DESCRIPTION
119649580 1 *ELECTRONICS MODULE (STRIPPED)
671529180 1 I/O BOARD
650430300 1 *PRINTHEAD ASSEMBLY
The electronics module. Listed as stripped, means it comes without the ram and nvm boards. When that fails it is a portion of that module that supplies the heater voltage. I think its a 50 volt source off hand.

The technical error message means:
The Printhead Left jetstack heater is not drawing the expected power from the power supply.
Possible solutions:
1) Make sure the AC plug is plugged into the wall and not a UPS or surge protector. Other things such as another printer, coffee maker or other electrical devices on the same circuit could cause a sag in AC demand from the Phaser, causing it to fail it's PEST (Print Engine Self Test).
2) Verify that the wall outlet's circuit is capable of delivering the correct amount of current to the Phaser, if it does, check how many other electrical devices (aka a desklamp, radio, etc.) are on the circuit.
3) If it's out of warranty, reseat the cables from the Printhead to the Electronics Module. If it's in warranty, place a service call on the unit.

No, it will not work because the chip (CRUM) is not compatable.

From the service manual:
37,016.4x - PEST_FAULT_HM_CLUTCH_DISCONNECT
PEST - Head maintenance clutch disconnect. The head maintenance clutch is not
drawing the expected power from the supply.
1. Run the Head Maintenance Clutch test.
2. Check the Head Maintenance Clutch wiring.
3. Disconnect the Wave Amp signal cable from the left
side of the Electronics Module. If the error code
changes, replace the Wave Amp.
4. Replace the head maintenance clutch.
I have the full service manual available should you need it. Thanks and please take a moment to rate this solution as fixya.
