When I press the on/off button it lights up then goes black. When plugged in it shows the Kodak symbol, but then it goes black. Lens is kinda crooked.

Sorry to say you have broken the lens, replacement of the lens is the only practical repair and if you cant swap one yourself from a dead camera it would be beyond economical repair.
If you are adventurous you could buy a faulty one of ebay and swap the lens or if the faulty one has a broken screen or mode dial swap yours over to the faulty one..
there are a couple of "tricks" do getting this camera open drop me a line if you decide to proceed...
best of luck
SOURCE: lens stuck out; camera won't stay on
I have the same problem. Its actually because the On/Off button got pushed in somehow and its stuck. At this time right now, im not sure how to make it unstuck, but sometimes it will stay on. But when you push on, since its being held down, its stuck that way and immediately turns off because its still being held down constantly. Maybe try using a thing needle to try and push it out?
SOURCE: The lens wont retract(its stuck) thus the camera will not stay on when power button is pushed
FOLLOW this procidure open the camera then rotate the lens and set it like it was before

hi try to reset ur camera...To do such reset, turn on the camera and hold the menu button down for longer than 5 seconds. A message should hopefully come up on your LCD asking if you want to reset the camera. Select Yes....

SOURCE: Kodak v803 wont turn on
i had the same problem, if you try to turn the lens in as if you turning a dile, the lens will go back in manually once you have the lens completly in again, as if the camera is switched off, then turn the camera back on at the power button and the camera will operate as normal, this worked for me i hope it works for you too.
