Fr340ff Light inside fridge flashes on and off when door open. Goes off when door catch pushed. Changed bulb no difference

Change battery on remote? Test remote? If remote works but unit is unresponsive issue is with main board,

1) Try different bulbs. If standard household bulbs fit, try one of those also.
2) Find the button switch that opening the door actuates, and press it in and out, jiggle, see if that makes a different.
3. Unplug the refrigerator, and clean the bulb socket with steel wool, especially the contact at the bottom of the socket.

Generally at the top on the door inside the fridge there will be a little door switch as we call it. When pushed in it should open the contacts in the switch and kill the power to the bulb. If the bulb is not turning off when the switch is pressed then I would presume the contacts have been fused shut and if you would like the light to turn off you may want to replace the switch, or pull out the light bulb andhave no light. Your refrig light switch does control the freezer fan and the refrig light bulb . Replace the refrig light switch .
Open the refrig door , freezer fan goes off and the refrig light comes on .

If I understand correctly, you have the bottom freezer with the two doors that open into the fresh food section. Also you have to open one of the two doors first in order to get into the fresh food section. If i ma correct. The switch on the door you have to open first to get into the fresh food section is bad. This is why it makes not difference if you hold both in. The switch on the second door does something else. You will need to replace the switch that the first. You can test this switch by, take the switch out. They are tricky to get out. Take a putty knife and slide it under one end of the switch, push in while you are prying outward. It should pop out. There should be three wires going to the switch. One of the wires is hot (110 Volts), one goes to the fan inside the fridge and the other goes to the light. (The switch operates like this. When you close the door, it turns the light off and the fan on. When you open the door, it turns the fan off and the light on.) Once you find out which one is hot, connect one of the others to it. If the fan comes on try connecting the hot to the other wire. The light in the fridge should turn off. If so replace the switch. I hope you can understand the way I tried to explain.

If the cabinet is warm inside it is a failed circulation fan, failed defrost causing the evaporator to freeze up, or it needs a refrigerant gas top up.

Beeping is just an alarm. It may be because of the more serious issues listed above but can also be caused by a failing door gasket, the door being left ajar (kids are famous for this) or the door has been left open too long deciding what to have for dinner.

What you need to locate is the door switch mechanism for the fridge. These are normally located towards the top of the door and protrude so that when the door closes the switch is pushed in. To find out if you have a problem with the switch just press it when the door is open and the light should go off. The switch itself can appear in various forms either as a protruding rod or a curved plate which pushes upwards against the door side when it closes. If I could draw in this section it could be better explained. But if you look around the inside of the fridge on the side away from the door hinge then you should find something you can push. Sorry to be this vague. If you do need a replacement switch they are normally quite simple to change depending on where they are located, most are two screws, or just a push in type. Hope this has been of some help.

IT COULD BE A BAD LIGHT SWITCH, SOCKET OR BULB.
IF THE CONTROL IS ELECTRONIC, SOME REFRIGERATORS WILL SHUT DOWN THE LIGHTS IF THE DOOR IS LEFT OPEN TOO LONG.
BE SURE THE BULB IS SCREWED IN ALL THE WAY. SOMETIMES, THEY WILL WORK LOOSE.
