Prints from CS3 Photoshop like a streched plastic

When I try to print from Photoshop CS3 it prints like a piece of plastic paper which you pull stretched. It shows it stretched in Print Preview and prints it same. I have tried Vista and XP, same results. Same program and files print fine with any other printer. I have latest Vista driver from Minolta.

From photoshop I get a streched out photo that don't come close to fiting the paper. Select any other printer and it is fine. save the photo and print it with any other program and it is fine.

I'm having the same problem and I have a 2500W. What I have to do to get around is to create a new file in photoshop with 8.5x11 size and then copy the image layer to the new file and blow it up. When printing, I have to print to PDF first and then from PDF to 2500W. It's such a hassel. I've tried so many ways to just print from my original image in photoshop but was unsuccessful, wasted soo many papers too!

Photoshop prints only black and white

I don't know what you mean by 'set for color output', but be careful there is a way to set the printer's 'preferences' through the PS PRINT DIALOG BOX... those settings can be different than your regular printer settings. Look for it when accepting the send to printer parameters.

I need the Authorization Code for my Photoshop CS3, but can't find it! Help!

Hello -- it should be printed on a sticker that is affixed to the box (inside or outside) or a piece of paper that was included with the software.

Dark prints when printing from my Imac using Leopard

I was also having problems with my Epson scanner on my iMac. I read that the best way to solve Epson's problems is to (1) uninstall all Epson software from your HD, and (2) download the appropriate drivers from Epson and install them.

Note: The Epson R1800 has two drivers: the most recent is an update. So, you must first download and install the Printer Driver v6.12. When that's done, then download and install Printer Driver Update v1.02.

I did that and I still got dark prints. Then I got an inspiration. In the Print dialogue box, I changed my Printer Profile to the paper I was using, Epson Premium Luster Photo Paper, instead of using sRGB and/or Adobe RGB. Specifically, I used SPR1800 PrmLstr PhotoRPM.icc. The next test print was virtually spot on to what was displayed on the screen. I am now a VERY happy camper.

Please pass this info onto anyone else who can use it.

Printing document

Did you change the top margin setting?

Make sure that the paper size is correct in the printer settings of the control panel when you print. You have to tell it what size paper you are printing on.

Printer: Canon PIXMA MP610 Operating system: Mac OS 10.4 Problem: Printing 4x6 photos is excruciatingly slow from iPhoto and Photoshop CS3. I thought it may have been something to do wireless printing,...

When printing from programs like that, usually the "BEST" option is selected for the print quality.. Try going into the preferences and choosing a lower quality.

If that doesn't help, for Photoshop, you can "save for web and devices", choose PNG and then save to desktop, and use another program to print the file. Or when in the print dialogue, make sure "printer manages colour management"

Not too sure about Iphoto print settings, but there may be something in there.

Quitting job early

Photoshop CS3 only allowes prints till 30.000 pixels in each direction. That's a kind of bug. You can lower your reslotution or buy an expancive RIP.
