Why does my brand new jacuzzi have toxic plastic smell when jets are on?

Any of these cleaners work very well at removing the smell from a jetted tub and the bacteria in the pipes as well.

it sounds to me that your electrical contacts are not tight or the motors windings are overheating so seak the help of an electrician and ask him to test the start and run amperes of the system if thats fine then i think your pump seals are faulty

Debris was left in the chamber when manufacturing the unit. Flus and clean accordingly and it will survice.

The gasket around the jet may be leaking because it is deteriorating or the flange nut on the outer side of the jet has loosened up. Check all jets for loose hardware.

Did you see any mold? Did you see any areas that are wet? TOXIC is a term that is used to describe something that is poisonous. I think you mean noxious which means unpleasant and possibly harmful. The smell of sewage would be classified as this.

Need to run some cleaner through jets to clean out old water and mildew.

Pour some chlorine bleach , not alot.in and let it circulate. You may want to clean the filter first.You are smelling a real dirty filter.

the jet covers normally unscrew counter clock wise .As far as the smell goes it could be clumps of old hair after time the old hair usually causes a pretty bad smell.Try snaking the drain.This might help.
