Samsung HLP5063W 51 inch DLP is 4 years old. Screen scrambled?

This morning the screen scrambled. It looks like the screen is divided into 5 or six vertical regions. and constant scrambeld out of sync flickering in each of these independant yet distinct regions. Absolutely no meaningfulk picture at all. The dthree front display LEDs in the power button do not indicate a fault. TV menu or other inputs are no different. Is this a chip problem? What do I do now as I unlugged reset for some time and it made no differ3ence except once when I started the TV the picture was there for about 10 seconds and scrambled again. now it stays badly scrambled only. Any advise what to check ??

Screen is scrambled and remains scrambled. tv has been unplugged for several days. When we plugged it in, we have the same scrambled screen. appears to be approximately 5 or six evenly divided sections. No faults have been indicated. Is a bulb burned out? how do i identify the problem?

There is a complete section in the tv that translate the different resolutions from the different out side video sources you normally use to the TV native resolution. That area has to be replaced. Is a module repair needed. Don't get scare. now days this kind of repair is normal and has to be included in the repair price to see if is economical to repair.
