I need to program the voice mail on our M7310 system

It is already set up, but I need to change the main message. Eg. for ____ press 1. Where do I start??

    thanks so much, unfortunately 1020000 doesn't let me in. Is there anyway to reset the main password?

    120000 Was working but quit all of a sudden. Does anyone out there know how to reset the password to default. It maybe Operator error, but I need to know how to fix.

First press Feature 983. if your system has 2 digit intercom #s your password is 120000 if your system has 3 digit intercom #s your password is 1020000. once you have entered the password you will see 3 selections you can make .use the three soft keys under the display and select AA (auto Attendant). next press greeting and greeting again. next it'll ask for the greeting number your probably working with greeting 1. press record to start and ok when finished. dont forget to save the greeting or it will be deleted if you exit early. hang up when finished

Programming for the voice mail is done on M7310, M7324, or T7316e sets. Try finding one of these sets around the office to do the administrative programming.

I have put a main greeting on my Norstar M7310 phone for all 5 incoming lines, however one of our incoming lines has grabbed a personal message form another extension and callers get that personal message...
You need to know what extension is causing the forward directly to voice mail. Chances are that this extension has ringing lines programmed to it and the forward on busy is to voice mail. ANY PHONE THAT HAS RINGING LINES SHOULD NOT BE SET TO FORWARD ON BUSY. If they happen to be on the phone when a call comes in it will go straight to their personal mailbox.

I need to change my voice message
1 Call your Motorola voice mail service. Press the "Contacts" or "Address Book" button and select the "Voice Mail" entry. Press the "Call" button.

2 Enter your password. Call the service provider for your Motorola phone if you cannot recall it.

3 Delete all voice mail messages. In order to access the main menu you'll be required to empty your inbox.

4 Select "Change Personal Options," then choose the "Change Voice Message" menu. Disconnect the phone call to save your settings.

To change your pager notification number, access your voice mailbox, press the admin soft key or 8, then press 6 to open the off prem. message notification, press the admin soft key or 1, choose the type of destination (phone, extension, or pager), press the Chng key to change the destination number, enter in the new telephone number and press the ok soft key.

Programming must be done from any M7310, T7316, or M7324 model phone set.

To Log Into System Administration:
1. Enter Feature 983
2. The display will show "LOG:", enter your login password
a. If your company extensions are 2 digits long enter "120000"
b. If your company extensions are 3 digits long enter "1020000"
c. If your company extensions are 4 digits long enter "10020000"
3. Press the softkey under "OK"

the night mode message that is being used is the main phone's (phone with lowest Ext. number) night mode message that was customized through it's voice mail.go on the main phone and listen to its voice mail. (voice mail ext. usually 165)continue listening until you hear some options.select the voicemail management optionthen select the change personal greeting optionthen select the after hours greeting optionhope this helps!

You need to go in to voice mail admin .
Feature 983 1020000
press AA
press Greeting
press greeting again
enter 1 for greeting 1
this should be your main greeting it could any greeting from 1- 20 , it depends on how it was set up but that should work fine .
