most motor homes tap into the chassis wiring harness so get a workshop manual of the vehicle and the wiring diagrams will be in there
the basic chassis will be a Ford , chev, mercedies , renault etc so the relevant work shop manual will the year and make as shown on the compliance plate
The Easiest Way is to Get the Wiring Harness Diagram with the Colors and Verify that you plugged the Fog Lights into the Correct Harness. I once had a FORD that had a Fuse BOX that had a FOG LIGHT and No Power to that Fuse.
Make sure you test the Fuse at the Box and then Trace the wires and if the Switch was wired at the Factory, you should be all set

Go to Autozone.com and register your truck for FREE. Then you can get access to Chassis wiring diagrams and fusebox layouts. The plastic cover on your trailer plug will have the id for each pin in the plug.
The factory chassis diagram should show the fuse providing power to the individual post on the plug.

I believe you can look up the manufacturer of the trailer plug kit and find the wiring diagram there. On alot of the trailer plug kits, they have pics and diagrams in the package. The 7 pin plug (truck side) is available with the pig tail set up that plugs directly into the wiring harness for the lights. Then all you would have to worry about is the 2 wires for the electric brakes.
