Hello. I am having system operating problems with my Iphone 4S. Apple tells me my only recourse is to restore the phone to factory settings and then reinstall each app separately. The problem here is that I will lose my data for each app. I want to be able to keep my PRIVATE PICs data. I notice on the iTunes sync screen that Private Pics is listed under FILE SHARING and then it says "The apps listed below can transfer documents between your iPhone and this computer." I cannot however 'select" PRIVATE from the apps list. I think if I can transfer all my data in PRIVATE PICs to my computer, restore my phone, reinstall PRIVATE PICs, and then copy from my computer back up to my phone, my problems would be solved. Plug your iPhone into a USB connection on your PC. Give it a minute.
- Your iPhone will ask if you want to allow this device (your PC) to access your photos. Click ALLOW.
- Go into Windows Explorer and your iPhone will be there. - Click on it and there will be a DCIM folder. Click on that folder.
- You will find one or more folders under DCIM. Each of these contain the photos on your iPhone.
- COPY (DO NOT MOVE) these from your iPhone to your Computer's desktop. Now you have all photos on your computer and you can safely wrestle with restoring your iPhone.

The user name and password that is asked for is the same one you set up in itunes when you appled for an account.. the user name is the e-mail address you used for the account and the password you associated with it so if you have not done so set up an account with itunes first.
If you have already got said account then double check to make sure you are entering the correct password the e-mail you used should be already visible in the dialogue box that has popped up asking for the password

Have you looked at the syncing options in Itunes? perhaps you have not selected syncing for apps and photos. Select the phone in iTunes and look your sync options.

you may want to go on itunes and restore ur iphone but make sure u back up the files on a cd or flashdrive
