This phone was bought used and unlocked and I have tried software upgrade downgrade still nothing.

Appreciate any help on saving this Blackberry .

Sorry. No solution. I have 7-8 of them here with the same NO Network. This "USUALY" happens when someone performs a repair on the phone wih Hot air gun amd the TX\RX module gets damaged. Hopefully someone has a solution and I get to fix my phones too :)

I took it to the original operator who checked the imei ,and they told me the data package was cancelled because the phone was under a business plan of 2 years and someone unlocked the phone so they blacklisted it.

Now I have to make a new contract and all will be resolved.

Thanks hope this helps.

If the phone has been unlocked it is likely that it has been blacklisted, this is what happened with my curve and i took it back to the shop and got a refund!

My curve is locked in camera mode. My daughter presses "something" and I cant get out of camera or snap a picture to get out of camera or go back to home screen. power down didnt help - help!!

Reflash your blackberry phone, it should be works and will make your blackberry camera curve 8300 unlocked. If that solution not working, bring your phone to nearest mobile phone repair shop and asking them to unlock blackberry using cable unlock. It's not only unlock your camera but also unlock your network if successful.

GSM wont turn back to EDGE on my Blackberry Curve

Go to "manage connections". Choose "mobile network options" and change the network selection mode to manual. The phone will search for a minute then show a list of available networks. You should be able to select Edge from there.
