If you mean your computer or iTunes can't recognize your iPod when you connect your iPod to computer. You may follow these steps.
1. Try another USB cord or USB cable.
2. Restrart your computer for a try.
3. Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many general iPod problems.
4. Update your iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
5. You may try this iPod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you upload music and video to iPod, I always use it to sync my iPod when my iTunes can't recognize my iPod, it's easy to use and works pretty well

Why doesnt my ipod touch connect to my belkin54g network

Go in to setting on your ipod and in setting select connection, then wifi.At there the ipod will ask you for the router password o keys.

If you are having problems connecting either your iPhone ® or your iPod Touch ® to your wireless router please ensure that the routers wireless name (SSID) contains no spaces.

My ipod wont do anything

If your can turn the iPod ON but it won't do anything, then the problem is program. It could have a corrupted program.

If the iPod won't turn ON completely, then it has something to do with the battery or loose wiring connection.

These problems could be resolved best the an Apple Tech, so I would advise you to bring it to the Apple and have them repair it for you.

Won't connect to wifi...says invalid argument

The ipod touch is an advanced state of art equipment that recognizes when your arguments are not backed up by cold hard facts and data.  Just kidding.

Turn off ipod and turn on again.  Now try.  Anything? Upgrade to 3.1.2 ipod software to address some wi/fi connection problems.  Also, type the same password you would use to access the net on your computer.

Ipod touch connection using 2 wire 1800HG

not sure if the 1800hg is the issue log into the router and turn off the encryption temporarily then try to connect the ipod. if the router connects double check your encryption key. if not or it connects for a second and then drops may be the internal security for the router stopping the connection you may have to call 2wire to help you turn off some of the security to keep the ipod connected.

I Cannot connect My Ipod Touch to my Tiscali Router

When you say password for your broadband PC Connection, do you mean WEP on the router?

If you have WEP enabled on your router, then this is the "password" that the iPod Touch is referring to when setting up the WiFi connection on the Touch.

If you are trying to use the password that you have on your PC, as in the Windows Login password, this is not going to work.

No power, broke my ipod

I experienced similar problems with my unit. I fixed my iPod by simply resetting it (hold on, hold off, hold the menu and centre button for about 5 secs.) My im600 seems to have some problems with the power button, but if I use the remote of just keep pressing the button till it powers on, I have no problems.
