Good Afternoon Kate - Thank you for your question! Some air conditioner filters are removed by sliding out from the right-hand side. Others, you need to push the vent handle to the Vent Closed position and open the front panel. Grasp the filter by center and pull up and out the filter can be wash using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Rinse filter thoroughly. Gently shake excess water from the filter. Be sure filter is thoroughly dry before replacing. Keep in mind that instead of washing you may vacuum the filter clean as well. Hope this helps!

Says clean filter How do I clean the filter on the Midea dryer

Open the dryer door and look down at the front edge where the door would be when closed. There should be a plastic vent style panel. This should pull up and out. Once out it should unclick with a light pull and open like a book, hinged on the bottom edge. This is the lint filter and should be simple to clean.
2 or 3 times a year I give this a firm, gentle clean with a SOFT nail brush to clear the skin of the filter.

How do I clean the filter on the Novotronic W 310 Miele washing machine

Cleaning the fluff filter and pump
Check the fluff filter initially after 3 - 4 washes to ascertain how often it is likely to require cleaning. With normal cleaning approx. 2 litres of water run out.

If the drain outlet is clogged, more water will be retained in the machine (up to 25 litres).

Caution: if laundry has been washed at a high temperature,
water draining out of the machine will still be hot!

Take the (yellow) filter flap opener from behind the detergent drawer facia panel. Open the flap.

Place a dish under the drain fixture. Turn the fluff filter lid round 2 - 3
times. Do not take it right out.

With large volumes of water when the dish is full, screw the fluff filter back into position and empty the dish before repeating the procedure.

Once the flow of water ceases, remove the fluff filter completely and
clean it.
Remove any foreign bodies (e.g. buttons, coins, etc.) and fluff.
Turn the impeller by hand to check that it is free to rotate. Any foreign objects causing an obstruction should be removed.

Clean the inside of the fluff filter housing. Remove any deposits of lime scale and detergent or foreign bodies from the thread of the filter housing and filter unit (as these objects can cause a leakage
of water). Put the fluff filter back and screw it in firmly.
Cleaning and care

To clean the water inlet filters
The washing machine has two filters to protect the inlet valves. These filters should be checked every 6 months or so, or more often if there are frequent interruptions to the water supply.

To clean the filter in the union in the open end of the inlet hose:
First turn off the stopcock.
Unscrew the threaded union connecting the free end of the inlet hose to the stopcock.
Remove the rubber seal from the recess. Using pointed pliers, take hold of the plastic filter bar, remove the filter and clean.

Put the filter and seal back in the reverse order and reconnect the
hose. Turn on the stopcock and check the connection is watertight.
Inspect the inlet hose which is subjected to high pressure while the machine is in operation. The hose should be replaced if there are small cracks in the surface, or if it has been otherwise damaged.

If replacing the inlet hose only use a hose able to withstand pressure up to 70 bar. Miele's own hoses meet this requirement.

To clean the filter in the water inlet valve:
Using pliers, carefully loosen the ribbed plastic nut on the inlet valve,
and unscrew.
Use water pump pliers to withdraw the plastic filter by the bar.
Clean, put back and secure.
The two filters must be put back in place after cleaning.

Low flow rate

You probably have debris clogged in the impeller. The pump has to be opened to clean or repair the impeller.

How do i get my filter out of my bush a127ldw washing machine got E03 error am working my way through your list but cant get filter out

Water inlet filters
On the tap part of your machine's water inlet
hose and at the ends of water inlet valves, there
are filters to prevent entrance of the dirt and
foreign materials in the water to the machine. If
the machine is unable to receive sufficient water
although your water tap is fully opened, these
filters should be cleaned.
x Remove the water inlet hose.
x Remove the filters found on the water inlet
valves by using a pincer and wash thoroughly
with a brush. (1)
x Clean the filters of the water inlet hoses
located on the tap side by removing manually
together with the seal. (2)
x After you clean the filters, you can fit them
the same way as you have removed them.

Pump filter
The pump filter system elongates the life of your
pump, which is used to drain the dirty water. It
prevents lint to enter the pump. Cleaning of your
pump filter in every 2-3 months is
recommended. To clean your pump filter:
x Open the kickplate's cover, by pulling the
handle. (2-A & 3-A)
x Before opening the filter cover, place a cup in
front of the filter cover to prevent flow of the
remaining water in the machine.
x Loosen the filter cover by rotating it counter
clockwise and drain the water. (4-A)
x Remove the foreign materials from the filter.
x Check for the rotation of the pump manually.
x After you have cleaned the pump, fit the filter
cover by rotating clockwise.
x Put the kickplate cover into place.
x Do not forget that if you do not fit in the filter
cover properly, it will leak water.

How to open pool, fill sand filter with water?

I happen to have a copy of the users manual for this pool filter. These are the instructions for operating your filter.

1. Be sure correct amount of filter sand media is in tank and
that all connections have been made and are secure.
2. Depress Vari-Flo control valve handle and rotate to
BACKWASH* position. (To prevent damage to control valve
seal, always depress handle before turning.)
3. Prime and start pump according to pump instructions (be
sure all suction and return lines are open), allowing the filter
tank to fill with water.
WARNING: ALL SUCTION AND
DISCHARGE VALVES MUST BE OPEN WHEN
STARTING THE SYSTEM. FAILURE TO DO
SO COULD CAUSE SEVERE PERSONAL
INJURY.
Once water flow is steady out the waste line, run the pump for
at least 2 minutes. The initial back-washing of the filter is
recommended to remove any impurities or fine sand particles
in the sand media.
4. Turn pump off and set valve to RINSE position. Start pump
and operate until water in sight glass is clear—about 1/2 to 1
minute. Turn pump off, set valve to FILTER position and
restart pump. Your filter is now operating in the normal filter
mode, filtering particles from the pool water.
5. Adjust pool suction and return valves to achieve desired
flow. Check system and filter for water leaks and tighten
connections, bolts, nuts, as required.
6. Note the initial pressure gauge reading when the filter is
clean. (It will vary from pool to pool depending upon the
pump and general piping system). As the filter removes dirt
and impurities from the pool water, the accumulation in the
filter will cause the pressure to rise and flow to diminish.
When the pressure gauge reading is 8-10 PSI (0.55-0.69
BAR) higher than the initial "clean" pressure you noted, it is
time to backwash (clean) the filter (see BACKWASH under
Filter Control Valve Functions.)

I've acquired a plant with a Triton SP-710 sand filter (Pac Fab Filter, 75 gpm rated flow) that is 25 years old -- it is supposed to be cleaning up bearing lubricant water, but a significant amount of grit...

For an old filtering system, there's no other way to clean
it quick but to backwash it with the pump that is hooked to it. Or you can clean and have it rehab by opening it
up which will of course produce a better result. Just
send your e-mail comment for further assistance.

When the ON button is pressed, the machine turns on then turns off after a 5-6 second delay.

Hello teresa_jeff,
On most coffee makers there are two filters: the coffee filter and the water filter. Open the lid and look for a water filter "stick" and pull it out. Open it up and clean out the carbon filter and gunk. Clean out the debris in the bottom of the cavity. Frequently, the clogged water filter prevents the switch from staying on when pressed due to a sensor. Try to clean the system with 2 part water and 1 part vinegar, rinse with a pot of fresh water run through. If these suggestions fail to remedy your switch problem then it most likely would be a defective switch.
I hope that this helps you. Happy brewing! NormanZ
