The wii kabookii game, I'm having a problem with the wiimote not being read while playing the game. It say to push the a button and do a movement that it shows in the screen and it doesn't work. Another thing is that it won't zoom in like it tells you to do. How do I fix this problem?

I have had the same problem. The game worked fine, and then after awhile some of the games didnt recognize the remote movements. I contacted the developers of the game and didnt get much from them. From further online research I found that this is a faulty game. Needless to say I traded the game in...

Can't add wiimote when playing Cabelas Big Game Hunter 2010

If it is a one player game the wii disconnects other controllers to save battery. Some games say 2 player but in the fine print you learn that it is only online (with other wiis)

I have 3 cordless remotes for the nintendo wii and the wii is not reading any of them. Could it be the bar that plugs to the wii?

To connect a wiimote to a wii, switch on the wii and open the wiimote's battery cover and there will be a red button reading sync press it. It will set your wiimote to discover mode so that your wii discovers it. Then connect the sensor bar to use your wii console.

My wii remote would not work so i bought a new wii wireless sensor and it still does not work can you help please

Have you checked the battery in your Wiimote? It seems like a very basic thing to do, but sometimes the wiimote might not hold a charge if you placed the batteries in incorrectly. If your Wiimote is showing a charge, then you may have forgotten to sync up your wiimote with your sensor bar.
  1. Open the battery door to your Wiimote
  2. You'll see a red button on the bottom of the opened hatch, it says SYNC.
  3. Press that and the sync button on your Wii.
If that still doesn't work, check the connection of your wii sensor cable to your wii. Try pushing the cable in securely.
Good luck!

Wii wont turn on

Hi,

If there is no LED on, then the most likely reason is, that your wii isn't getting power. So the problem, is with the plugs, and the power adapter. If you have a friend who has a wii, try testing his power adapter on your wii. Make sure your cords are completely plugged in, on both sides, (the outlet and the wii) then press the power button on the wii. If that dosent work, try turning it on with one of your wiimotes. If that dosent work, that means your wiimote is not synchronized with your wii. To sync. it, open the sd card cover on the front of the wii, press the red button above the sd card slot. Then open the bottom of your wiimote, (where the batteries are) and press the small red button that should be beside the batteries. Then hold the wiimote close to the wii, then after its done flashing, press the power button on the wiimote and also, try plugging your power cord into another outlet. If it still won't work, you've got a broken wii, so you better send it to get replaced or fixed, again as suggested. DON'T OPEN IT! You could loose your warranty if you open it, so it's safest not to. Hope you get it to work

Thank you !!

Even with new batteries in the wii remote, when i turn on the console, the screen comes up that says "press A button",,,,but nothing happens, the sensor bar is firmly secure but still nothing happens, its very...

Is it a Wii game? Gamecube games aren't compatible with Wiimotes. Otherwise, Check the lights on the Wiimote, Are they on? If not, You could have a battery problem, Or your Wiimote could be broken. Make sure the Wiimotes are connected, See your manual for info on how to Sync.

Wii Remote A/ B problem

I know this sounds silly, but be sure that you have fresh batteries in each Wiimote and that you have them in the right way.

Whenever you start up your Wii, the first Wiimote that you press a button on becomes controller number 1 and then subsequent Wiimotes are added in the order a button is pushed on them. SO, if you are thinking that you have remote 1 because that was the one that was remote 1 last night, it doesn't necessarily mean that it is so. Be sure that whenever you activate a Wiimote, the lights flash - 4 lights flashing mean strong battery, 1 light flashing means replace; when flashing stops, the number LED that is lit from the left denotes which remote you have. Make sure that is the same Wiimote that you select a game with, and make sure that is the one you press A&B together with to start the game.

If it doesn't work, shut everything down and start up using the other Wiimote. If that DOES work, then it could mean that your other Wiimote is not syncronized with the console. See the directions in your Wii manual on syncronizing additional Wiimotes (they're called Wii Remote by Nintendo) to your console.

Good luck. If all the above fails, you may want to go to www.nintendo.com and request customer service.

Cannot get the gun sights to move in wii play

Ensure that your not too close and not too far from your TV, and make sure that your sensor bar is properly set atop (or below) the screen.

Aiming takes a minimal amount of movement once you get your cursor on the screen. Big motions are not necessary to move your sights around the screen - just little movements with the wrist. Once you find that sweet spot, you should get good experience with the Wiimote.

Finally, make sure the batteries in your sensor bar (if you are NOT using the one that came with your Wii) and the batteries in your remote are fully charged. To know if the batteries in your Wiimote are charged, the first time you press a button on the Wiimote after turning on your Wii, you'll notice that 1 to 4 of the blue LEDs will be blinking. If all four are blinking, the batteries are good. If only one blinks, time to replace them.

Good luck!

**NOTE: If you don't like my advise, that's fine. But please don't rate me a '1' just because my answer doesn't help. That's what 2 diamonds are for. Thanks!
