I have had good luck at our local appliance parts store. Take the old knob or the slow cooker in if you have a store close. Try looking for Appliances Household Parts in the yellow pages. If you have a metric/standard tape measure, remove the knob by pulling it off, if it will come off, then measure the shaft in mm and inches and look online. Also make sure to look at the shape of the shaft, sometimes they are half moon. Best of Luck
When it's plugged in, it's "on". All Rival crockpots heat up to simmer, which is about 209 degrees, and then stay there. So whether it's "Low" or High" or somewhere in between, it will heat to the 209. I got this information from the Rival web site when I was researching for information on my 1 qt. and 2 qt. crockpots that I have no manuals for. There's a manual for the 1.5 quart online but after I printed it off, I lost the URL. Go to www.crockpot.com -- maybe that will get to the manual, or at the least, it should give you a Customer Service phone number to call to request one, or directions where to find it online.
For what it's worth, when the handle on my mother-in-law's crockpot broke, I went to Home Depot and bought a cheap wooden drawer knob (about $1 as I recall). I put a plastic washer between the knob and the glass and another under the screw head from the bottom (to prevent cracking the lid), tightened the screw and good as new.
Welcome to FixYa! I'm the expert that chose your problem to resolve. Unfortunately, Rival does not offer online parts ordering at this time. You will need to contact their customer service by phone or email. To make this easier, I have "drilled" down through their website and got you the page, where you can contact them. Just click on this link:
