Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's
LAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's
configuration URL..
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)
You can now change the default admin password.
You can now configure the wireless settings.
(SSID, WPA or WPA2 encryption to protect your wireless network and
Internet from unauthorized access).
Now configure the wireless card in your computer/laptop with
the router's wireless settings.

first connect your router to laptop with ethernet cable.
Then u can access it with following link
http://192.168.1.1 or
http://192.168.0.1
then type user name as "admin" and password is "admin" or blank or "password"
then u can see configuration of your router.
then check its ip range and enable dhcp and also if there mac security u have to add your mac adrese in allow list
u can find your computer mac adreses with command prompt.
type "ipconfig /all" in command prompt.
then u get alL ADRSES physical adrses is your mac addreses.
Step 1:
Flip the device over.
Step 2:
You should find the model number on the sticker underneath the device. See the image below.
NOTE: Take note of the exact model number and version of your Linksys device. In this example, the model number of the device is WRT54G v5.
Step 3:
Check the serial number which is located right underneath the model number.
NOTE: The
images may vary depending on the model number of your Linksys product.
If there is no version number beside the model number it means the
device is a version 1.
