You can connect your iPod to laptop through a USB cable. If you mean you laptop can recognize your iPod, you can follow these steps to fix the problem.
1. Try another USB cord or USB cable.
2. Restrart your computer for a try.
3. Reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many general iPod problems.
4. Update your iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
5. You may try this iPod transfer, it's a nice iTunes alternative that can help you upload music and video to iPod, I always use it to sync my iPod when my iTunes can't recognize my iPod, it's easy to use and works pretty well

Where can i install apple ipod's driver mini model number a1051s driver which can connect ipod to pc

Use itunes it will load required drivers itself, If the bottom Port for usb/charger is small not the big one its a fake IPOD and will require specific drivers it came with and wont work on itunes if real IPOD itunes will be able to connect to it perfect, IPOD's dont require driver disks as all Windows O/S have drivers for them as there just mass storage devices

Before your laptop can recognize your device i.e. your ipod touch you need a driver for this device, you can downld it from itunes website. After you have downlded this driver install it then re-connect your ipod device to your laptops usb hub.

An I-Pod can be connected to any Operating System provided that you have installed iTunes™ that comes with your iPOD... Once you have installed this software then you can directly synchronize with your iPOD music and your computer... And.. Just incase you dont possess the CD then just follow the below link...

Apple iPod Video Black Digital

Get a new cable if everything else works that is your problem
Usually, unplugging, replugging it and then rebooting solves the problem.

your other options are a driver issue..either with the ipod drivers, itunes, or the USB drivers for your computer itself. since your ipod video and psp work fine, you can rule out USB drivers, but that doesn't rule out additional driver problems.

the other option is there's some kind of failure with your ipod..and sometimes if a device starts drawing power before doing any kind of communication with the computer (like when my rockbox-hacked ipod goes into charge only mode) then windows will assume there's a hardwire issue. the best way to determine if it's an issue with your ipods are take them to another computer and see if they work. if they work fine...try uninstalling and reinstalling itunes (back up your music and database) and see if that solves the problem. if none of that solves it and you know the ipod shuffles are good..then your system has suffered from the mysterious driver failure that's plagued a lot of systems. and generally the only real solution is to reinstall windows from scratch.
