Hi, you can download a driver here at HP:

But you have to select your operating system.

You can also try windows update.

Hi there,
To do a factory restore you will need to use the Restore CD's that came with the Computer. If you dont have them i would advise getting them from HP.

you cannot recover or reset with out a recovery CD

or

just format it and install a fresh copy of operating System

Try cleaning your RAM it should be the issue mostly 80%

You can check by rremoving the VGA cable if the system shows no signal mostly monitor should be fine

I have a HP Pavillion slimline, I don't seemto be able to burn a cd, it tells me its encountered an error, does it come with a cd burner

besides needing the latest driver installed-to burn a cd you may need software
