When I turn on the T.V. the Sounds works for about thirty seconds then stops but the picture remains the same. Also My DVD Player never has sound, I have tried both HDMI Hookup and AV Cables. I Have Direct TV Satellite Box number is TV D12-100. The DVD Player is a Sony DVP-SR510h. I have tried a number of things with the sound setting on all three of these devices. I have not done a hard reset on the T.V. But I am going to do that next. Any Advice would be much appreciated. I run a B&B and have a guest that is staying in the room where the T.V. is tonight. So I need an answer ASAP. Thanks

SOURCE: I have an ilo 32hd

Unfortunately the ILO TVs aren't a good investment. If you just purchased the television, I would return it as soon as possible and purchase a more reliable and well known brand. ILO support services is almost non-existant and there are several comments on other blogs regarding the Ilo brand. I have two ILO 26" HD, which I purchased in Aug '06 and am now beginning to experience problems.

Hello

One board takes in the HDMI as well as the other signals. Sometimes part of the board breaks and that is what sounds like has happend in your case. This is a fairly common problem and most people tend to just live with it. Others sell thier tv and a few find the number of thier board to see if one is available on ebay or shopjimmy. If you are comfortable with electronics the board is not hard to replace.

Im sorry your HDMI broke....

I hope this helps

Problem with Coby TF-TV3217 32 in. LCD TV

sounds like there is a fault with the tv or there is a bad cable.but you have tried av cables to. I would use another tv for time being. capacitors in the tv may be week and need changing. if its been used alot by i mean on and off a lot then it will wear out quicker than normal use. and the startup wear components out a lot quicker than normal home use.

Sound, but no picture

If you have a progressive scan button on the remote, it might change it back. Try all the video related buttons on the remote with the DVD player on.

Samsung dvd-r135

The Disc Tray Will Not Open And/Or There Is A Disc Stuck In The Player. spacer.gif Some DVD Players manufactured prior to 2003 have a Dealer Lock or Child Lock function. This will prevent the panel buttons from operating.

This function is activated by pressing the STOP button on the front panel
and the POWER button on the remote control simultaneously for four seconds in the power on state. Repeating this sequence releases the dealer lock. When the dealer lock in activated, DEALER LOCK ON or DEALER LOCK OFF scrolls on the display.

If this does not resolve your problem there may be an error with in the player. To resolve this try the following these steps:
  1. Unplug the DVD player from the electrical outlet and leave it unplugged for thirty seconds.
  2. Plug the DVD player back in to the electrical outlet, but do not turn the DVD player on.
  3. With the DVD player off, press the [Open/Close] button on the front of the DVD player. The home theater should power on when you press the [Open/Close] button and eject the tray.
The second option worked for me...

Cyberhome 300 DVD Player: pal to ntsc mode?

You might want to reset to factory defaults, but there is an error in the manual. In order to reset to factory defaults, turn on (with no disc inside), DO NOT OPEN THE DISC TRAY, just press the stop button on the player for 5 seconds.

No power?

This for sure sounds like a power supply problem . Your gonna need a service manual as the power supply has many always on supplyes as well as many switched suppys. You can get the manual from our advertiser at http://servisemanuals.com
