Emergency mode my phone is on emergency mode automitically not able to call or receive calls

check with your service provider as to why they are not allowing you to use the phone
what you have indicates an unpaid account and you are only allowed emergency calls

See if you can get to the settings for Mode - most phones lock into "Emergency Mode" if a call is placed to 911. There should be choices for Normal, Airplane and Emergency.

When you say "Emergency Screen", do you mean the dialer that you can access when your phone is behind the lockscreen? In that case, press the back button to exit. If you're restarting your device and are only able to make emergency calls, your SIM/RUIM card may be dislodged. Power down your device, remove it, and re-insert it before powering on again.

EMERGENCY CALLS
Emergency calls can be made in all device conditions as long as there is any
available network signal. From locked screen conditions press the Emergency
Call button to open the dialler, then dial 000 and press the handset icon to
make the call. In all other conditions press the Home key to return to the
home screen then press the handset icon to open the dialler. Enter the
Emergency number (000 or 112) and press the handset icon to make the call.

HiFirst remove your battery from your phone and reboot it by inserting battery as well as sim card.before Menu appear a message will prompt like " Continue Using without Sim Card" ? just press no .Or when the phone is in normal mode (standby) Go to Profile >> and Activate the General.Good luck

using flight mode you cannot make calls
you have to switch it to normal mode

my samsung sgh-U700 is not allowing me to make any calls other than emergency calls, and i also can't receive any. How can i fix it?

I have the same problem. It shows network for sometime then it will show emergency calls only and after some time its again operational. Can anybody help??
