There is a reverse light pressure switch that screws into the transmission i would check 1st to see if its getting power to the switch when in reverse then see if its got power coming out. can you please rate me if this helps trying to make a buck

    it should be on the drivers side it will have a large hex and two small wires coming out of it if you go to a parts store and look at one that might help to find it

03 bmw 325i, car will not start-will not turn over. it feels as there is no power going to starter but all lights appear in working order. I charged the battery last night. could it be an security???
if u disconnect the battery without any backup power the system will be disfunction. need ot go to service center to reset the ecu.

2003 bmw 325i keys does not unlock and the door wont open how do i find a central locking system if im completely locked out?
insert the key into the drivers side or passender side front door, twist the key and pull open on the handle at the same time and the door will open. It might take a few times to get it, but this does work, source BMW AG Munich.
