Minolta 2300DL feed problem

After about a year of good operation, the printer now will cause create a fold in the paper . This is when the printer has been idle. After warming up, it will print properly without folds. So now we're having to print junk copies before getting a good copy. Just printing small black only printouts for the warmup seems to require even more junk copies.

This is a common problem with the majic colors. There is a solenoid inside the machine that needs to be replaced. Not an easy job. This should be done by a tech.

Konica Minola 2300DL laser printer. When I try to print, it jams at the printer rollers just before the paper ejects. It fan folds in the top rollers There is no paper stuck anywhere?

I would closely examine the exit roller. When the paper fans; it's sticking on something. Typically, stuff will ":hide" on rollers; or maybe stuck on a sensor. Using a good flashlight will help.

Miss feeds when print multilpe pages

The paper feed solenoid is sticking, it can be seen thru a hole in the back with the door opened. Not easy to get to, but I have been able to bend the stop tab slightly and run just fine.

Good morning. I have been searching the web for conditions and suggested solutions that are for the Minolta 2300dl printers that have the paper printing down/offset and often do not fully eject out of...

Normal 0 This may not help everyone that I send it to, but it is worth a try.
I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

My Konica Minolta Printer cuts paper

You most likely have a "claw" out of place in the fusing section. These are sharp little spring guided teeth that keep the paper off of the heated roller. If you had a paper jam and pulled the paper out forcefully it can flip these claws out of place, causing it to cut your paper. (or jam more often). To find these claws, follow the heat. They rest on the hottest part of the pressure rollers of the fuser.

Paper feed

Try pushing down on the back of the paper feeder. Also try lifting the paper tray up from the back of it.

Minolta 2300 dl service manual

The solution for this issue has to do with the paper used. I experienced the same issue and traded out the bargain paper for quality Xerox paper. The bargain paper is just too thin and is causing the sensors inside to misread and miss-feed into the various rollers and devices inside the printer. If you can afford a color laser then I guess they figure you can afford the premium paper. The Xerox paper I'm using is 24lb found at BJ's wholesale here in the South East US, though other quality papers will work as well.

Paper jam

take out all the paper from the loading tray, and press down on the inside of the tray 4 or 5 times, and put a sheet back in. There seems to be a physical irregularity with all 2300DL printers that causes this problem
