Perform a manual power reset by following the steps:

1. Turn off the camcorder. 2. Disconnect AC power adapter. 3. Remove the battery pack. 4. Move the POWER switch to the A position for 15 seconds. 5. Move the POWER switch to the OFF position. 6. Reconnect the AC power adapter or reinsert the battery pack. 7. Turn on the camcorder.

almost all this dv cameras have a AC adapter and internal data battery so just plug the ac adapter and the battery will display when it is full ...it doesnt even need to be on when charging ...

The ccd base assy. needs replacing.

There is a circuite protector near by the connector which is coming from the battery to mainboard.Just replace the same.

Order the original adapter from JVC. The adapter supplies the correct current requirements to operate the battery charge circuit. JVC's web site is JVC.COM.
