Hi, I bought a Sony car amplifier XM-554ZR 4 chanel. 2 for front speakers & 2 for back speakers. how i will connect my Subwoofer in this amplifier. Can any one send me a wiring diagram?
You can download the installation manual from the link below: http://www.sony.co.id/support/product/xm-554zr?site=hp_en_ID_i It has the following diagram plus other hookup info... Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
The short answer is no!
Your options are as per the diagrams:
1. 4 full range speakers with filters off.
2. 2 full range & one sub with filter on.
3. 2 full range & 2 subs with filter on.
Because you need the filter switched in to feed sub(s) it cannot connect rear sub(s) & full range speakers at the same time.
Sorry but this amp does not suit your needs if you want all 5 speakers you have connected.

This amp is fine to push 5 speakers. it is 2 ohm stable in stereo. what you need to do is connect the left front and rear speakers to the left front out, and both right speakers to the right. this will make a 2 ohm load. you will lose front to back fade but still have left/right fade. if you only have 1 sub , bridge the rear channel to run it. this will make a 4 ohm load and your amp will perform great.
HI DUDE its simple ... your front ch u plug 4 speaker means left 2 speaker right 2 speaker ... for ur sub use rear ch bridge mode left positeve and right negative ur amp shows this + - + -
