Television problem The problem with my t.v. is that you could see a shadow within the television, what's the best way to fix it?

The tv have a problems known as a convergence problems,it dead.The tv colors lines R,G,B mis alingnment,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures.The tv convergence board the 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all it resistors are dead.These parts on the convergence board,require replacing to fix the tv picture convergence problems.The shop,will cost $300-350 for parts and labors.

That will require some service. My opinion?...A power supply voltage not up to spec. Check the web for service people near you

You have a convergence problem. The Red and Blue are out of convergence meaning they are out of synch, causing shadows. There should be an Auto convergence option either on the television or through the menu options on the remote. If this doesn't fix your problem, then there's a manual convergence option. Should that fail, a service call is in order. Best of luck!

You have loose solder connections on the convergence amps.This is a common problem caused by heat within the unit.If you can solder you can fix it.

there are also resister that should be check.

I have the same problem and was told by a technician that I need to replace the light engine. Probably around $ 700.00.
