Hello guys, You folkz are my last resort, i'm getting mad at my remote! For some reason it dont work any more, i know i had the problem earlier but managed to get it to work by pressing some button but this time i dont know what i have to do. The problem is what ever i press the CD button and the Learned/TX light is turned on but my receiver dont do anything, i cant turn the volume up/down or anything. If i change the mode to say DVD and i press a button it jumps back to CD. I think i have entered some mode but i have no clue what it is and how i have done so. Please please if you know what my problem is do tell me how i exit this. Thanks guys.

The Harmony database should have the proper codes. Any Denon ending 03-10 should work fine. You dont need to learn it in.
Second, if the CD button is lighting up that is because you selected to control a CD player by pressing the CD button. There are source select buttons and control select buttons. It seems like the control CD button was pressed so it is attempting to control the CD player not the receiver.
Find the second row of buttons below the main ON button on the right. Two rows below that is the CD button you are referring to. One button left of that is the CDR-MD button that says AMP above it. Press that button then try your source select buttons on the corresponding numeric keypad to select DVD (#4). This should solve your problem. You dont need a new remote.

I have also tried to mode select without success. Also pressing the CDR-MD dont work, it always jump back to CD on the second key press.
