I can't explore my YP - U3

Go to this website and download Multi Media Studio.
Install the program on your computer and open it, then plug in your YP-U3 and it should recognize your player and then you can download music, pictures,etc to your player.

You need to go to Samsung's website and find there download page and enter your exact model number of the mp3 player (there are quite a few that start with YP-U3 so you will need to figure out its exact model number) and enter the number in the search box and click ok, once it brings you to the page for your model look for a tab that says software and click it then download the program samsung media studio and install it which should install the appropriate drivers for your mp3 player

How to download Samsung media studio for YP-U3:

Select your corresponding software download on the next site by choosing the exact model:

On the next page select "Software" under the tab "Downloads".
For the software download select under "File" the required item, in this case "MediaStudio5_5212.exe."

My new YP-U3 player does not connect when entered into the USB port of the computer, states disconnected, it does charge though. The Samsung Media Studio has been installed and is operating

1. Open My Computer.
2. Right Click on the YP-T9J, then Left Click on Format
3. Click OK at the warning message where it states that Formatting will erase all data on the device.
4. Click on OK once the Format process completes, then close the My Computer window.
5. Right Click on the icon of My Computer, then Left Click on Properties.
6. Click on the Hardware Tab, then click on the Device Manager Button.
7. Locate either Portable Devices or Windows Portable Devices and click the plus to the left of that to make it a minus.
8. Right Click on the Samsung YP-T9 and Left Click on Update Driver, this will start the Hardware Update Wizard.
9. If the first screen asks if you would like to connect to Windows Update and you are currently connected to the internet, select Yes, this time only, and then click on Next.
10. On the next screen keep the default setting (Install the software Automatically (Recommended)) and click on Next.
11. The wizard will search for an updated driver and once this is complete, click on Finish.
12. If the Samsung Media Studio program does not open up at this time disconnect the reconnect the YP-T9J and this should then open the program.

NOTE: If this does not fix the issue, first try to uninstall then reinstall the Samsung Media Studio Program

With the YP-u3 connected to the USB port and internet connected, start Samsung Media Studio software, you should get notification of a firmware update to download which fixed the recognition problem for me

you need the install cd to install the program (Samsung Media Studio). With it, you can transfer music files into the yp-u3

I bought a Samsung YP-U3 . It had the installation cd .When plug to usb port It's charging but it shows disconnected...the samsung media studio and my pc don't recognise it, allways ask new samsung YP-U3 found. when i give the path to cd it dint get. Please help me....
