While using it restarts automatically n ask insert sim

After inserting the sim card it goes restart and ask for changing the profile from offline,when i try to change the profile from offline to others it hang and restarts showing the offline while sim inserted!tried with different sim but no use.

The power offs may be from a defective battery, or dirty contacts at the battery and SIM card. The last cause would be from physical or liquid damage.

just go to profile and select general, it will automatically put your device back to online

If you have a memory card installed, backup your contacts to the memory card, then remove it. type this code onto your phone *#7370#, phone will ask you for security code, enter 12345(default) and wait. when it restarts, all problems will be gone. insert your memory card again and restore your contacts.

back up your phone using Nokia Pc Suite or to the memory card.
after backing up all info e.g. contacts, messages, music etc. remove memory card.

you can try to reset to factory settings by pressing *#7370# and it will ask for security code the default security code is 12345, if you changed use the security code you set.
the device will restart after it restart it will ask you to enter info needed after its done setting it up.

open the music player and check if it will open. if it does insert the memory card and try to play the song if it does then restore your back up to your device

You have to have the disc in your cd/dvd drive to play the game. the game will not play without the disc. If you have any expansion packs installed you need to use the latest expansion disc. For instance, I have Free Time but not Apartment Life so I must have the Free Time disc in the drive to play the Sims 2, not the Sims 2 disc.

When you place a new or SIM card from another phone provider from the original phone contract then it asks for a Security code.
Your phone is locked to this mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for your phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone.
They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone.
Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in the phone.

I was sent a Song Ericsson w580i T-mobile from my uncle from Uk and is not accepting my sim card is complaining that I should insert correct sim card, I would really appreciate if i can get a software to enable it work with my sim card.

continue processing& not transfer sim to phone
open the phone battary and insert again in phone . than job can be done

its either a loose sim tray or a problem with the Sim IC ...... use some packing over the sim card and see whether it works properly other wise you will have to get the sim IC changed
