Hi,

To resolve the problem, I used my Iphone instead of my Computer to connect to the network.
On the Iphone the network "None" was not show so I've manually connected to this SSID with no password.

On the Iphone I then go to 169.254.1.1 to relink to my home WIFI :)

Hope this will help :)

How to factory reset a JBL onbeat awake

Hello
For the JBL Awake
I just had the same issue and i found a way to solve this :
1. Unplug the power supply
2. Plug it back while holding the [ON/OFF] button
3. The screen shows “UP9” again
4. Do the update with the JBL Music app (I did it with my old iPhone 4s plugged on the 30pin connector)
5. Finish the firmware update ... until the app tells you to unplug the power before restarting the device
(Sorry for my bad English, i’m French)

Hello, somebody cleared my mp3 player from virusses, but he erased everything, I guess, because I cannot play any music anymore. It says that there are "no files", but if I put it in the computer I can see...

Could try these steps:
5) Firmware update for the TrekStor i.Beat censo a) Connect the i.Beat censo to a USB port on your PC. b) Back up all the important files on your i.Beat censo onto your PC. c) You can update the i.Beat censo with the most current firmware from the Internet (on the TrekStor homepage at http://www.trekstor.de). d) Download the firmware (*.zip-file), and unzip it to a folder of your choice. e) Follow the attached update instructions. Warning: Please read all of the update instructions, and follow the update procedures exactly to keep from damaging the i.Beat censo!
6) Formatting the TrekStor i.Beat censo a) Connect the i.Beat censo to a USB port on your PC. b) Back up all the important files on your i.Beat censo onto your PC. c) Open "My Computer", and click your right mouse button on "Devices wi th Removable Storage". d) Select "Forma t…" from the context menu. e) Select the "FAT32" option under "File system" from the dialog window that appears. f ) Click the "Start" button to start the formatting.

Recovery code 101

B) The Archos 5 or 7:

4- Select "Repair" by scrolling up and down with the volume control on the right of the unit (Do not press "Format" at any time)
5- Now that you are on "Repair" press the on and off button, shortly to validate your selection
6- The unit will go to "Plug the unit etc…" but it is already plugged from point 1 - DO NOT press anything anymore on the Archos
8- Wait until Pc should recognizes your Archos (around seconds)

C) Computer
1- From your computer select the firmware file you downloaded from the net and put it in your Archos (in the root folder, nowhere else, where it has the folders, music, videos, pictures etc… as a file)

D) On the Archos 5 or 7
1- Select "Ok" on the Archos (on & off button) shortly to select and confirm the file is now on the Archos
2- you are done! The Archos 5 or 7 should now read through the file you have transferred and repair the system
3- DO NOT DISCONNECT the USB cable until the process is finished
4- when done safely disconnect (as you usually do, for Mac trash the letter of the Archos to the bin or for PC's: right click the green icon bottom right of the screen for xp & vista)
5- Press on/off button to reboot

Your unit should restart with a fresh repaired, updated system like day one.
Good luck!

Firmware update for netgear router

I was having the same issues too. I followed the steps dotted all over the internet and was getting stuck in exactly the same place. No matter how hard I tried, I just kept getting the 'invalid filename' issue.

Eventually I figured it out - the way that Netgear/Virgin have blocked firmware updating is to break the filename checking page so it doesn't accept any files. What we need to do is bypass the filename checking code so that the firmware upgrade system can then handle the file, and we're going to do this by manipulating the web page using a tool called Firebug.

Here is the solution:

1) If you haven't already got it, install Mozilla Firefox 3 (there is good reason for this - I'm not just shamelessly plugging it! :P).
2) Install the 'Firebug' extension for Firefox from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 and restart your browser when requested.
3) Navigate to your router's admin page, and fill in your login details (if you don't know them, it's likely to be the one written on the bottom of your router).
4) Navigate to the router upgrade page (the one where you select the firmware to upload' and select the location of the firmware file, like you would normally. Now, instead of clicking the 'Upload' button, press F12. This should bring up Firebug in the bottom quarter of your screen.
5) Now, click the moz-screenshot.png2193448.jpgbutton at the top of the Firebug panel and then click on the 'Upload' button. This will bring up the code for the upload button, where it does the filename checking. It'll look like this:
b5b0399.jpg

6) It looks like Netgear have actually stripped out the real checking code so it can't be used, so we'll need to fool the page into thinking everything's fine and dandy with the filename so it can update the firmware. Click where it says "return checkData();" and replace it with "return true;".

7) Finally, click the upload button. The router should now accept the file and start updating.

And hey presto! You have a non-nargled wireless router with the latest firmware!

The sansa c140 1gb mp3 device displays a message "no space for DB please delete more than 4.0MB" when I start it. I tried to format using WinXP but it couldnt be formatted. I tried the firmware updater...

If you are trying to format the device thru Windows Media Player, try just thru My Computer. My Computer>Device Name, right click and select format. Otherwise you may need to change the mode on the device. Settings>Mode or USB. Please add to the question, if you need more help. Best of Luck.

Not able to use it crashed

Hi! I wrote to the support center for a similar problem. They sent me the solution which has worked successfully! Hope it helps you out too. Their solution -->

"Thank you for requesting information from your TrekStor Service Team.

The reason for the described malfunction may be a damaged firmware. We recommend to reinstall the current firmware on your i.Beat mood. You can download the firmware for the i.Beat mood from our web sites at http://www.TrekStor.de/en/index.php. Choose "Service" and then your MP3 player.

Please note that the firmware can only be reinstalled using a Windows operating system. The files which are downloadable on our web sites are packed and in ZIP format. You will need archive software as e.g WinZIP to open and extract this file. If you do not have a suitable programme installed on your computer you can download it as shareware from the internet.

Install the downloaded firmware on your PC by double-clicking the file "Setup.exe". Start the firmware update tool afterwards. Remove the battery of the i.Beat mood. Press the MP3 player's Play button for approximately five seconds. Now connect your i.Beat mood with still pressed Play button to your computer. Keep this button pressed until Windows detects a new device in recovery mode.

After your computer has installed the i.Beat mood the firmware update tool will detect your MP3 player. Now you will see the recent (current) and the new (update) firmware version. If "Format Data Area" contains a checkmark the i.Beat mood will be formatted before the update and all data stored on it will be deleted. TrekStor advises to format the i.Beat mood along with every firmware update.
http://www.fixya.com/support/t198710-not_able_use_crashed
Afterwards, your i.Beat mood can be handled as usual. Moreover the MP3 player should be accessible again under My Computer.

We know that you as a customer have the choice and we thank you for having decided for TrekStor."
