My powerwinch brake won't release

My model is actually the VR 192, but it doesn't show up on the list. I can manually crank the cable back out, but it does not free wheel like I think it should be doing. I just got this used, so it may be damaged??? Anyone know what might be happening with this?

You have to conscious of the fact that when dealing with water and equipment running in water there will be a distinct possibility of rusted bits. Winches have a brake system to hold the line in place when stopped so at a guess I would say that the release mechanism is rusted and not working properly. Try spraying in some wd-40 or crc tp see it that helps.

How to use Google Daydream with an iPhone?

Since I was asking myself if the iPhone works with Google's VR Daydream glasses, we at our company tried it for myself, see in this video.

And it actually works but you should start with the iPhone 6 because the iPhone 5 and 5s is just to small. I attached a video which shows how it works. But still, no iOS app supports the Google Daydream control. But if you cannot wait to enjoy VR content, it is possible. Let's see when Apple will release some kind of VR glasses as well.

Clutch won't release

Start with inspecting the clutch handle for any obstructions or rust.
Lubricate the clutch cable at the handle.
Follow the cable down and look for and pinching or damage. If you can follow the end of the cable to the actuall clutch mecaniism, inspect the area for clearance.
If you can disconnect the cable from the clutch mecanisim and test the clutch handle to see if the cable moves freely.
Manually try to engange an clucth with the engine off.
If it won't move, time to diassemble the clutch.

Put parking brake on to park my Caravan. Went to start it, released the parking brake. Press the gas pedal, put the van in gear, it wont go forward or reverese. What should I do?

Sounds like seized cables. You can try spraying cables anywhere you can see actual cable exposed going in to brake drums ( I will assume you have rear drums) then try tapping/hitting sleeves of cables very fast all along sleeve with something like a big screwdriver handle, or a piece of wood handle to see if they will release enough to get you going. Then have them serviced, so it doesn't happen again.
Please,Let me know how you make out.

Girls skeleanimal bike brake is stuck so back wheel won't move

It's a Huffy. 'Nuff said.

Manuals here - http://www.huffy.com/Support/OwnersManuals.aspx

If the cable isn't passing freely inside the cable housing it won't relax brake pressure when the lever is released.

Parking Brake on driver side rear is stuck, How do I fix it?

The first attempt is a simple one..

Ensuring the hand brake is fully released.

Try rocking the car back and forth gently.. and I mean under power.. more backing up than forward motion. Sometimes this will release or allow the expander to let go.

Next..
Locate the e brake cable behind the wheel.. grab it and push it toward the center of the car..this may release the e brake..sometimes the sheathing wears off near the brake and the cable can rust or bind at or near that point.

If that doesn't do it.. you can tap the exposed part of the expander on the brake..generally located at the top part of the brake assembly.. with a small hammer..again..sometimes this will pop it lose.

Lastly some modes have an adjuster that allows the ebrake to be tweaked without removing the wheel.. if you can't locate it.. you will have to remove the wheel.. and hub.. and tap the expander until it frees up..

If you do a google search for 1996 Saab e brake diagram.. you will see what the expander looks like.. of if you look for brake parts.. the diagrams will show the expander.

The cable or the expander is frozen due to rust dirt etc.. sometimes when it's cold..ice and slush.

Best of luck!
