If it is coming from your motors, it could be very bad. i.e. motor replacement. Sometimes on the side of those motors there is a black plastic cap about the size of a quarter or half dollar, those fall out sometimes and allow gearbox grease to come out. This should`nt be confused with your motor brush caps which are about the size of a pea and have a small **** in them for a screwdriver.DO NOT TAKE THESE OUT. If the large cap has come out just stick it back in. If you can`t find it you`ll ned to call a dealer to get the part replaced.
If you can still find no prob, your probably going to have to go to a dealer.
The oil will be coming from the gearbox in with the motor attached, is it possible to tip it on its side to find out exactly where the oil coming from ,. Is it a cracked case ? More likely the seal around the axle has worn it can be replaced.

hi James ,this is a power-chair right ? if so then the oil must be coming from one of the gearboxes, if possible run your finger inside the wheel where the axle goes into the gearbox ?
I would put a large hose clip around it. If you have the old one, you can probably get a replacement from Home Depot, or contact the company for a free one.
