It looks like from error codes that yoi may have a hardware error, or a disk format problem, if this is only burning problem you have on pc and it worked before, then uninstall and reinstall Nero, info gathered from here,

there are a lot of similar issues out on the net about this, dells computers I would switch to nero or any other burner software and see if it clears up, you might want to contact dell about it as well as I can see by the net forums its wide spread, could be a limited use lic issue.

WHEN TRYING TO BURN A COPY OF A DVD (ORIGINALLY RECORDED FROM MY DVD RECORDER ATTACHED TO MY TV), I GET THIS ERROR MESSAGE AFTER IT HAS BEEN COPYING IT FOR SEVERAL MINUTES. DIFFERENT BRANDS: VERBATIM,...

Gracie5, What I would do is find another application program to run on your DVD drive. There are alot of freeware products on the net. Your may be out dated for the current disks you are trying to make.I don't think all those disk companies can be making that many bad disk. Remember to always update!

NEC ND-6500A Cant burn DVD-R

I figured out what was causing the problem with my NEC 6500A on my Dell laptop: The Sony Picture Motion Browser software that I was using to burn DVD's is only compatible up to Service Pack 2 of Windows XP. The day after I installed Service Pack 3, the software stopped burning DVD's. So I uninstalled Service Pack 3, rebooted, unistalled the Sony PMB software, rebooted and re-installed the Sony PMB software and I can now burn DVD's again. So check whether the software you're burning your DVD's with is compatible with whatever version of your operating system you're operating with. Hope this helps someone else!

Hp 300 n

I know your problem however it is easily fixed, the burner has worn out, the laser basically is not putting out enough light for it to work properly, the best and easiest fix, goto tigerdirect.com and replace the burner, they now start as low as 24.00 and go up to around 65.00 so it's not an expensive fix.
