LCD controller board location on Vizio L37

The main power board is going bad. More specifically, the power amp chip is going bad. Note: Some Vizio TVs have the power amp chip located on the board where the power button is located. Many people change the main power board only to find it fixes nothing because the chip is not on that board.

The Main Board will need replacement. Soldering in another cable connector will usually not work in most cases unless you change the entire tuner

SSB board which is also known as the Main board that has cable connector and av inputs on it /
Look for it at Shopjimmy.com type in your Model number.

Since the line is not all the way up chances are you might be able to repair it.

Might be the LCD controller, which for Vizio L37 is T370XW01 or could be the main board.

if the line was all the way it would likely have been the LCD itself, which is not repairable; chances are still that's what it is, of course, but I can't remember seeing an LCD problem as you describe it.

Both the LCD controller (also called TCon) and the main board can be found on eBay and other dedicated stores. In fact I happen to have the TCon from a recently dismantled L37...the main board went out to repair another Vizio L37 just two days ago.

you can try to clean reseat your ribbon cables from you t-con boar dto the lcd and also the one that goes to the main booard that is called the lvds cable the t-con board is locate at the top middle o0f your unit if that does not fix it then tht-com board is bad

I would guess there is an issue with the remote sensor. These are normally located on the same board as the manual controls inside the TV.

change the main board will fix this problem

i have a 50 in vizio and the sound just went out. the picture still works but no sound anyone have any ideas on how much to repair it?
