NO TV PICTURE

I have a panasonic 37" plasma 720 HD tv with a HD cable box that I purchased about 3 months ago. Last night while my wife was switching channels using the remote control, the TV screen went black. Audio still worked and the channel information/banner would display when channels were changed but no picture. Picture will work for DVD movies and for my son's Wii game but no luck with television stations. thoughts??

The best way is to contact your service provider and ask them to trouble shoot guide you, there should be a way to reset or diagnose the receiver or if you prefer go back to the place you bought it and ask for a replacement, You should still have the manufacturer's warranty, check that as well.

Have a Panasonic TH-37PX60U tv - can I hook it up to a HD Satellite receiver - have a Bell hd but don't get any reception

Your plasma tv will display HD content when you connect an HD source (Blu Ray Disk, Sony PS3 / PS4 or Xbox 360, HD Cable Box, HD satellite, etc) via the TV's HDMI1, HDMI2, Component1, Component2 jacks or if you connect a UHF/VHF TV antenna (not cable box, etc.) to the "Ant" connector *and* you're close enough to a broadcaster with HD content to view.

Using any other input will produce only the lesser quality SD video signals. Review the manual - linked below - to help you connect the components you have.

Philips Plasma Tv model #50PFP5322D/37 has been losing the picture for a second and then coming right back on for a couple of months. Sound is fine. Last night lost picture and will not come back on. Blue...

That is an issue with many plasma/LCD TV's - because TV's are made so slim this days, the source cannot handle extra voltage if sometimes is pushed through the cable from your TV operator. Than some of the condensers from the mother board can get fried easily and that is it - no image.

Solution, service check, in the future, signal stabilizations on your cable and a power plug with earth connection.

Just bought the Samsung 550 Plasma Hd Tv can you tell me if we just use a regular cable from the wall to the Tv will the picture quality be sort of off.. WE have an HM MI cable from the cable box to the TV...

unfortunately cable does not give you the best quality picture and "fuzziness ' is the reduced resolution being displayed on the tv.
the easy way to check the picture quality is to get a decent hd antenna and scan using it for free hdtv signals, if these are also fuzzy, on all channels then the tv has a problem but if it is only on a few lower resolution channels then its just the way it is until everyone is hd 720 or better.

Sony Viao HDMI to Panasonic Plasma TV HDMI Input handshake

Try all of your HDMI inputs, one may be rated at the correct voltage to be able to display the video. The offical part that Panasonic was giving for this was PDPHDMIKIT, its basically a HDMI extender that regulates the voltage. The part is still available online, try partstore.com or andrews-electronics.

HELP! MY 42" PLASMA TV IS ONLY GETTING BLACK AND WHITE CHANNELS.

If you are connected to a HD cale box using component cables IE (G, R & B) then check if either the Red or the Blue has come loose or unplugged as this will cause most HD sets to revert to a black and white picture.
