Kenmore refrigerator with top freezer, a little over 4 years old and about a year ago freezer cold but fridge part over 50 so tech replaced evaporator fan that moves cold air from freezer to fridge. Same problem again. I told freezer back panel off and while compressor running, the fan was not. I touched blade and it started running, a bit weak with choppy movement. Cut off power and did again, same fan response. Should the fan automatically run when compressor running? Should fan have some speed to it, very slow? Does it sound like this fan needs replacing again? Thanks
The small cooling fan in the freezer compartment that sends chilled air to the food side is defective and needs replacement. Sometimes that are only frozen stuck.

Is this a Kenmore or a Haier? I have the same problem with an 18cu model Kenmore built, I think, by Frigidaire. Fan has been replaced twice. Tech told me this was a consistent problem with the frig.
Thought the refrige control might be bad because refrigerator was freezing. But if I turn off the ref completely, both the freezer and fridge run too cold. If I turn the refride on normal (4) and the freezer done to 1 both are still running a little cold. So it would seem the problem is the freezer control? Or thermistor. But I can't find anywhere how many or where the thermistor/s are?
