If the remote function on your Aqua-matic Remote Boat-Lift Control has stopped working, there are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Check the battery: Make sure the battery in the remote is not dead. Replace the battery if necessary.
Check the antenna: Make sure the antenna on the boat-lift control board is properly attached and not damaged. A damaged antenna can affect the signal.
Reset the board: Try resetting the boat-lift control board by turning off the power to the system for a few minutes, and then turning it back on.
Test the remote: Test the remote using a different boat-lift control board, if available. This will help determine if the issue is with the remote or the board.
If none of these solutions work, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a certified technician to repair or replace the boat-lift control board.
Hi,
myy was working then stoped. Battery was full. I disasemble it and found that the on/off switch stoped working because of the rust (water is getting inside). I manage to make a direct conection solding the black and red wire in this switch. Try it.
The boat has an issue that is for safety only allowing it to work in water, this can cause sputtering. You can try to connect a copper wire between the two copper drive shafts. The range on this boat is not great so that may be part of it.
P8-Abnormality in outdoor unit. 1.Wrong wiring of indoor/outdoor connecting wire.......................Check the indoor/outdoor connecting wire. 2) Reversed phase......Change the connection of electric wiring. 3) Protection device is working........ Check the protection device.(LP,HP) 4) Damaged outdoor coil thermistor.....Measure the resistance of the outdoor coil thermistor. If the resistance is normal, replace the outdoor controller board. 5) Check out door coil is cleaned. If not do it. thanks.
I know this isn't going to help you but I have a similar issue. The remote will function IF I first turn on the radio from the radio unit itself. Yours should turn on when the boat turns on, as mine did once. Now, my remote will not turn on the radio but will control it once I take the step mentioned above. I suspect I have a faulty remote. Coincidentally my battery now loses it's charge after a couple weeks of no activity. Perhaps a short in the remote unit causes a slow drain.
IT may be to late but you can buy a JVC radio model KD-SX50M tat will be plug and play. I just purchased one for 69.00. I had a simialr situation and that was all it was.
