Unable to redirect incoming calls to a different number

We are able to redirect direct lines but also want to be able to redirect the main switchboard line. We do not seem to be able to do this.

Can anyone help, please?

    It maybe (an) LDN(s) of the number(s) on this set, in which case forwarding will not work.

    the forwarding only forwards what is directed to the set, on the extension buttons... not on other buttons.

    Can you supply a bit more information on what you are trying to achieve?, there are two possible options on the face of it;

    1~ Alternative redirect (conditional redirect)

    2~ System speedcall (permanent redirect)

    Let me know what controller you are using and what software rev it is running and I can assist to a greater degree.

Incoming calls unable to answer and wrong calls going to other lines in office, where shouldn't be.

Hello, Nikki -

If all 3 phone lines are land lines, then you should contact your telephone service provider (technical customer service) because there is probably some problem with the exterior phone line connections. The wiring in the exterior connector box was probably negatively affected by your power loss.

Best wishes.

How can I setup forward call to my cel from VTECH CS6649-2

Call forwarding typically can redirect incoming calls to any other domestic telephone number, but the owner of the forwarded line must pay any toll charges for forwarded calls. Call forwarding is often enabled by dialing *72 followed by the telephone number to which calls should be forwarded. Once someone answers, call forwarding is in effect. If no one answers or the line is busy, the dialing sequence must be repeated to effect call forwarding. Call forwarding is disabled by dialing *73. This feature requires a subscription from the telephone company. Also available in some areas is Remote Access to call forwarding, which permit the control over call forwarding from telephones other than the subscriber's telephone. VOIP and cable telephone systems also often allow call forwarding to be set up and directed via their web portals. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_forwarding

Just a guess but maybe changing the connections for the lines on the switchboard. This may also change their numbers though.
