Unplug the power and phone cords from the wall outlet and let it sit for 30 minutes or more "the longer the better" This may reset the processor ic back into normal operation, if it fails! the only solution is replace your phone system, because the repair to your phone would not be cost effective.
it needs to be registered with the base on phone go to menu scroll down til you see register, registration, register base, sect it, then it will tell you to set it on base, after that wait a few minutes til its done, pick up phone, you should now have a dial tone, also if you have your manual, look up how to registar base, it might be easier instructions there.
This is the usual message that the phone gives when the battery has died and it has lost connection with the base unit. The usual fix is to remove and reinstall the battery, then place the unit on the charger for a full charge. This will usually fix the problem that you discribed. If after a full charge, you still get that message, you will most likely need a new battery. Good luck...
several things check the base is connected to mains power and switched on.
You have obviously checked to see if it is outof range, and checked the batteries.
If you are using more than one base check that you ar connected to the right one.
Also if you have too many appliances connected to the phone point they won`t run.
