andrew?so you need a manual for 425000x8A this is a 2003 model I found this manual for free at murray.lawnmowerguides.com/murray-lawn-mower-manual.html when you see your model number on your mower it look like this 425000x8 the A tell you the year it was made the 2004 model is 425000x8B BOTH MOWERS LOOKS THE SAME AND THEY HAVE THE SAME FRONT GRILLE.
Unfortunately Murray as we all knew them, and the Murray that manufactured your mower went belly up in the early 2000s. There owners manuals are not available anymore. The brand was purchased by another company and mowers with the murray name are being manufactured again. Parts are available to an extent as well.
Locate the tag with your model and serial number on the tractor. Be sure you get the number EXACT or it won't work. Go to Murray's website and download it. They usually have parts listings at the back of the Owner's Manual
Good luck....Scott's was manufactured by Murray originally, then Murray went bankrupt, then Briggs bought the remnants of Murray. The Murray website only covers manuals back a few years. About the only way to get older ones is if someone has one for you to copy.
