Yes, your amplifier needs the amout of fuses as there are fuse ports.
In case something were to go wrong it would blow the fuses instead of your amp and subs and burning your wire harness up..

I hope this helps.

Ihave a keenwood kac 7252 amp that is running two mtx thunder 4500 12`s but amp fuse keeps blowing at higher volume why?

1.-check proper heat sink, or dissipation.
2.- check speaker impedance. Must match between amp and speakers.
3.-low power line on the house may cause low efficience work on the amp, overheat, and finally fuse protection.
4.- finally, check speaker wires. Thin cable overheat amp too.

4. check if your remote wire works
5. check if you have a proper ground

What is the fuse size ( I know voltages but not proper ampage) for thr Harman/Kardon hk 695? Thank you

Greetings - You need a Radio Shack 270-1062 3/4 amp slow blow fuse or equivalent. Any .75-1 amp fuse of the same size should work fine.

Regards and Good Luck.

Thanks for using Fix Ya.

What powers the cooling fan motors my ac is not cooling properly the motors come on, but they are not turning fast enough. got straight power to motors, they both work ok.

you may find that the cooling fans only run at half speed when the a/c is on they might be set that way & run at full speed when the engine starts to overheat (in stop & go traffic) the a/c may need regassing that's why it is not cooling properly.....hope this helps...... cheers..

Directed audio 800a amp the protection light keeps blinking

1. Check your grounds. (including grounds for your stereo)

2. Check to make sure the power cable you connected to your car battery is properly connected, and not coming into contact with anything metal.

3. Make sure you are using proper fuses.

4. Check your connection from your stereo to your amp, and your amp to your subs.

1507 v12 amp

Are you installing the correct fusing inline near the battery and are you sure that you're hooking the amp up properly? Sounds to me like something isn't being wired properly.

Amp prob

The speaker wire will not shut off the amp. Make sure that your power wire and ground are all connected properly. Check for any break in connections with these wires. Also check to see if your remote wire is connect properly and that there is no break in the wire. If there is a break or disconnection in any of these 3 wires, the amp will not come on. Also, check the amp fuse to see if the fuse has flown. Also check the fuse that is connected to your 12V source. If the fuse is blown, there will be not power on the amp. Check all your connections and fuse and you should find your problem
