Voyager Pro wont charge??

I have had a Voyager Pro for over just over a year, it has had very light use. One day I plugged it in to charge, and the red light turned on for a moment, then nothing, and it will not charge or turn on. I paid a lot of money for this, and certainly haven't got the use out of it and would really like to get it working again, rather than put all that money out again, please help.

With these units, if the earpiece battery is allowed to run down, it will switch off. When the earpiece turns off the base station starts to search for it, which is indicated by the flashing red power light. Also the blue light on the top of the base will turn off. The first step, which you have already done, is to charge the earpiece. Next, hold down the little black button that is on top of the earpiece for about 5 seconds. You should get a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. Wait for about 10-20 seconds and the base should automatically find the earpiece. The red power light on the base will be steady and the blue light on top of the base will come on.

SOURCE: my plantronics voyager pro will not charge turn on

I have seen on some Plantronics Bluetooth headsets that you can perform a system reset by doing the following, It might help but not sure.

Instructions:
While plugging in the AC charger, hold the power/pair button. The headphones will show a solid red or blue light when they have been successfully reset.

SOURCE: I am having problems getting

So if it won't charge, it may be that the charger is bad, and you may not have a way of charging it to find out if it is the charger or the battery. If it is the charger you can get a new one, there is a link below to the right part. If it is the headset and it is still under warranty return it to the vendor.

Continuos (3) beep beep beep when voyager pro is turned on

Triple tones are usually associated with the battery having a very low charge. You should be getting approximately 5-6 hours of talk time and 5 days of stand by time from a single charge. If you are not, then the internal battery may be going out. The battery is hard wired and is not replaceable, however the headset does have a one year warranty from Plantronics and they will replace it within the warranty period.

I bought voyager pro last month. Today the headset will not charge. Was plugged in all night and it tells me that I have an hour of talk time. I tried plugging into the automobile charger and the red light...

Since you bought it last month I am hoping you have a warranty on the headset. It may be that it is just a bad battery, and the batteries are not replaceable. Sometimes that happens straight out of the package, but not very often. It could have been due to heat or cold damage. Check your connections again, maybe try a different outlet, and is it plugged into the headset correctly?

I have charged my pro+ but it wont power on i have no red or blue lights only red when charging

hold the power button down for about 3 seconds- that should either 1. put it into pair mode (red + blue), or 2. Shut it down so you can retry pairing/turning them on.

THE CHARGING LIGHT DOESN'T COME ON. I CHARGE IT DAILY BUT WENT ON A TRIP FOR 5 DAYS AND WHEN I RETURNED THE LIGHT WON'T COME ON...RED OR BLUE.

Per Plantronics: The Voyager Pro is not a moisture resistant headset. So if you have worn the headset during work outs or outside in excessive heat it could cause it to fail. The only solution is to have the headset replaced if still under Plantronics one year warranty.

I bought the plantronics voyager pro bluetooth headset two months ago and now it's dead. It's been working great for two months. When it's plugged into the wall for charging the red light is illuminated....

One thing you can try is to power down and then power the headset back up. The instructions are on the link below for the Plantronics Voyager Pro, particularly the page "Listen To The Voice."

Plantronics Voyager Pro User's Guide

If that doesn't help, then you have a bad processor in the headset. It's still under warranty so contact Plantronics at 800-544-4660 x5 x5538 for warranty service.

I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro and it will not take a charge. I plugged the charger into my phone to check it and it does work on my phone except not with my blurtooth. Thanks for your help.

If you have the Plantronics Voyager Pro headset, you should be using the ac adapter that came with the headset ( model 79414-01 ). If the headset will not charge, it could be broken or the internal battery may be worn out. Keep in mind that the Voyager Pro has a one year warranty, and Plantronics will replace it within the warranty period.

My laptop wont charge, why???? It was charging two days ago, i plugged it in today and the charging light came on but then immedietly went off. Help!!

sometimes the heavy cable to the actual transformer becomes loose, it looks connected but isnt, try shoving it in firmly, maybe also look and see if its power light is on, if not change the fuse in the plug.

My Voyager won't charge. I plug it in, and it doesnt even say anything. I have tried different chargers too.

This happened to me last week. The pins inside your charger port must have been shifted (pushed up or down). The plug, once inserted does not go all the way through or is not fully inserted within the port. To fix this, get a butter knife (this is what I used) or something flat and skinny that would fit into the port. Then, push it down or up to the middle. Try connecting the plug and check if it's now charging. I hope this works and helps you.
