Daisy model 1894 won't **** after not being used for maybe 20 years or more. Worked fine when put up. Have oiled in the holes, but no help so far. Cocking lever moves freely up to the point that is supposed to begin cocking the internal mech. Can this bb gun be disassembled easily/safely? Are diagrams available?

The 1894 cocks in two stages. First, pulling open the lever pulls the plunger back, then closing the lever back to its resting position will pust the plunger into the final cocked position. Take the receiver halves off and see what step in the process is not being made. You should see that one (or both) of 2 springs running along side of the inner assembly have broke, or came off.
If nothing else call daisy. They have a very helpful customer service which can walk you through fixing your problem
If you have a Daisy model 1894 that has a B-B under-powered problem (or B-B that only goes a few inches) then I can fix it for $57.00 (includes shipping it back to you if you live in regular US) if that is the only problem with the gun. Contact [email protected]
