have you tried another game on it if another game does work then its the game if the other game doesnt work then it the console needs to be repaired or replaced
try to plug it into the wall and move the male power jack whiles it plug into the female jack and hold the power button. see if you get any responds from it, if so you may have a lose solder joint. also why dont you try another battery. the battery may be shot and causing a conflict with the ds. worse things worse. the power jack could be broken inside. have you had any water damage?
