How do I change the Operator password on my Norstar Voice Mail System?
Press Feature and enter in the digits 982. Enter 67372867. Press 7. Enter the new Operator password (between 4 and 8 digits). Press RLS to end programming session.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
You need to export the CallPilot Manager output to a spreadsheet and look at the minutes used column vs. the mailbox size column. You can setup a function for a new column, that looks at the exiting columns to determine if the mail box is full.
The CallPilot takes between 4 and 15 minutes (depending on software level) to boot up. After that, the lights should come on for each port connected to the telephone system. If not:
1. Check the wiring between the phone system and the CallPilot;
2. Make sure the wiring between the phone & voicemail systems is less than 50 ft. (15 meters);
3. Remove & reinsert he feature cartridge.
If still not working - the unit needs repair.
The norstar extension may be setup up for Call Fwd to voicemail, or call fwd/busy. Also, Custom Call Routing may be setup to send the caller directly to the mailbox.
How to Change a Mailbox Password
1. To access the voice mail system press "Feature". 2. Press "983". 3. When you see "Log:" enter "120000" for 2 digit extension numbers.
4. Press "OK". 5. Press "MBOX". 6. Press "CHNG". 7. Enter the mailbox number you wish to reset. 8. Press "Reset". 9. Press "Rls" to exit (orange button to the right of the number buttons).
Default password is "0000".
Spyware/Malware lockout the wallpaper feature, I would suggest a good anti-virus program like Avast-Free. schedule a Boot time scan, reboot and watch the fun.
