So this washer is supposed to have an internal heater to increase water temperature to sanitize. Well water on hot and sanitize is luke warm. I just started to pay attention to it/ use this cycle so I am not sure if he water heater is broken or we have some other problems. Anybody has any advice?
Remove lower kick panel and check wire connections to heater. 2 wires go to heater terminals and a harness connector goes to temp sensor in middle of heat terminals. may be green ground connection on another term. use multimeter and check resistence on heater. during cycle heater will take time to heat.

How hot is the water from your tap? If it isn't hot enough the heater in the machine may shut off because if it takes too long to bring the temperature up to "sanitize" the machine is no longer efficient. I'm going through the same thing. My hot water heater is very far away and in a very cold crawl space.
Do I really want to crank my hot water up to 150 degrees so the water entering the washing machine is hot enough? Sounds expensive to me.
